Becker Transport & Aggregate was part of MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration) training on Wednesday March 30th, held at the Wadena VFW. The instructor for this 7-hour class was Ashley Gillund, Safety and Health Instructor with Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls. Today’s session focused on a variety of safety and health topics from First Aid and CPR, to operating an AED, to fire safety, burns, chemicals and more. Randy Becker talked about the importance of our employees having the proper training and being prepared to react to these types of situations. “It’s important that we are doing what we can as a company to take care of our employees in the event of an unforeseen accident, and today’s training is key to the safety of our valued team.” Becker Transport & Aggregate is proud to be able to attend today’s training.
